Mike....Here's the deal, AG wanted you to go out
and try and better our
employees benefits while
reducing costs; a very unrealistic expectation
to say the least. Now you've come back with new
premiums (Option 2 -
IHC HRA) for our employees
(approx. a 4% increase over last year's
premiums).Lowered the deductible to 500 from 1000.
Lowered the out of pocket maximum from3000 to 2250
and only at a 4% increase over last year's
premiums. Damn good work, in my opinion.

Best Pawn will continue to operate
two stores, meaning five or six people in the
plan. At some point I may need to put me and Ann
into Humana, but fornowKaiser'sretiree plan with
United Healthcare is still effective.
I am
the poster boy for stem cell transplants in the
treatment of multiplemyeloma. The median
survival is three years and I am at four years and
doing well. I take nothing for the
cancer,described as in "near complete remission",
but several things to compensate for collateral
damage from all the chemo -- thyroid, hormone,
anti viral, antifungal, etc. I can do almost
everything I want to do, I just can't stay at it
as long.
